Hosting the latest work experience participants for Midgard City’s 1 Golden Lane project was fantastic. Midgard City collaborated with Construction Youth Trust to give local young real-world on-site experience, allowing them to work with skilled tradespeople and apply their college learning. Midgard City is committed to nurturing young talent for the industry’s future.
Midgard’s recent experience included three Level 3 Plumbing and Electrical students. They completed a comprehensive induction and project tour, learning about how the different trades work with each other on-site. Each participant gained valuable insights, and we eagerly await their CVs for September apprenticeship opportunities.
“It was great to see young people on site this week and witness their growth with JRL. Their positive feedback about our team was wonderful – it’s easy to overlook our talent during projects. Many don’t know the career paths and income potential in building. We’ll keep offering skill-building opportunities and look forward to next year’s work experience participants.” – Vas Chiotis, Project Director
“The two work experience students I supervised this week performed well, which was a relief. We want them to have a great experience, but our fast-paced environment requires adaptability. They were engaged, asked relevant questions, and I’d recommend them if we have openings; I’ve already requested their CVs.” – Dean Glover, Mechanical Supervisor
